Our Board Members
B. Cato Mayberry is a graduate of Central State University of Wilberforce, Ohio
with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Welfare. Cato brings to AAVAG his years of experience of working within the city of Dayton's government; his long term experience of working in higher education and 10 years as Director of the Dayton Black Culture Festival
from July 1994 to 2004.
Constance "Storme" Johnson, Edd., is a graduate of Central State University
with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Foundations from the University of Cincinnati.
Storme has served as President of the Board and she also serves on several committees of AAVAG.
Andrea Walker Cummings is a professional fibre artists and a
graduate of Roosevelt High School in Dayton, Ohio and a graduate of The Ohio State University. Andrea is also the gallery curator for AAVAG's
rotating gallery at Central State University Dayton branch.
April Alford-Barclay is a graduate of Wright State University with
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership. She also has an Associate of Arts Degree in Social Work from Sinclair Community College. April is currenly the Executive Manager at the Montgomery County
Board of Elections. AAVAG uses her expertise for our social media usage.
Curtis Pettis is a graduate of The University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Art Degree in
Business Administration. He also has a Master of Business Administration from Howard University of Washington D. C. Curtis is presently the Executive Director
of Administration and Finance at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio and is an adjunct professor for Finance at Central State University.
Dwayne Daniel is a charter member of AAVAG, a professiomal artist and Fine Arts Professor at Central State University. He has served as
President of the organization. He has a Fine Art Degree from Central State University and a Masters of Fine Arts from Miami University of Oxford, Ohio.
Yvette Walker Dalton is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, she also has a Master of Divinity from the San Francisco Theological Seminary. She is also a professional artist, and a retired Art teacher.
. Yvette brings to AAVAG her experience in Education, the business of Art and
Craig Screven is a graduate of The Ohio State University and a professional artist. Craig brings to AAVAG the expertise of organization
and has served in many capacities of leadership. A diligent worker and volunteer in many of AAVAG's events and workshops, he has also chaired many committees.

D. Tristan Cupp is co-founder and artistic director of The Zoot Theatre Company. A recognized versatile artist, Tristan’s artistic talent includes set and scenery design and construction, scenic painting, sculpting, properties design and construction, and puppet and mask design and construction.
Jarrod Williams, a courageous, strategic and results oriented development professional that is committed to creating a true culture of improvement, data and gift management, annual giving, face-to-face solicitation and event planning. Jarrod’s work experience includes his present occupation as Development Officer
for the National Underground Railroad Freedom center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He served as the Director of Annual Giving for the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio from June 2018 to June 2019. Past occupations are Underwriting Account Executive Executive for WYSO Radio and Development Assistant for the Dayton Art Institute. Jarrod has a Bachelor of Arts from Wright State University and a Master of
Science from Northern Kentucky University.
