Membership
The organization is composed of artist/educators, artist/students, and artist/advocates. Membership is open to
any person interested in the mission and objectives of AAVAG which are:
- To cultivate a climate where diversity of American expression can be recognized and respected. |
- To maintain support of the artistic development of the African American youth. |
- To promote opportunities for sharing resources and networking with other arts organizations. |
- To encourage and support the study of the visual arts. |
