Clifford Darrett was born in Evansville, Indiana and has always demonstrated the "natural ability" to draw. He enhanced that ability with more formal elective art classes while working on a Masters Degree in Computer Science. Clifford incorporates themes from American life and his travels to the Caribbean into his artwork. His paintings are included in many private and public collections in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. He considers himself a contemporary genre artist whose style is realism.
