Dwayne Daniel is a graduate of Dayton's Dunbar High School, he acquired his undergraduate degree with academic and scholastic honors from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. Dwayne received his M.F.A. from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is currently a faculty member in the Art Department at Central State University and has served as a visiting teacher at Colonel White High School for the Arts and Center for the Study of African-American Art and Culture (SHANGO). Dwayne has been a frequent winner in art competitions throughout the Midwest and was one of the featured artists in the National 2005 Black Creativity Exhibit at the Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois where all four of his entries were accepted for display at this annual's nationwide competition for African-American Artists.
